Description Details:
Tank material is the type of material the tank is made from. There are 2
different materials commonly used for these tanks: aluminum and
chrome-moly. We carry exclusively aluminum tanks because they
are significantly lighter than the chrome-moly.
Size is how many ounces of liquid CO2 the tank can hold. There are different
actual dimensions of the same "size" tanks produced by different
manufacturers.
Valve system is the type of valve installed on the tank at the time of
purchase. Most tanks come with a pin valve. On/Off valves are
available as an additional purchase.
Required modifications are usually not necessary as most guns today
are CO2 ready from the factory.
Warranty is the offer by the manufacturer (if any) on the tank.
Air Efficiency is the number of shots the average marker will get
from this tank when full.
Expansion Chambers:
Expansion Chambers create a space for liquid CO2 to expand into a gas. There are
2 sizes of traditional expansion chambers: 4stage and 6stage. The difference
is 2 stages, which means more area for the air to expand, ulitmately a 6stage
will provide a longer time of playing without freeze-up and better overall
gas efficiency. Expansion chambers are for use with CO2 only. 4 Stage price is $40.
6 Stage price is $50.
Pin Valve:
Pin Valve is a traditional CO2 valve. Price is $20.
On/Off Valve:
On/Off Valve is a replacement valve which allows you to turn off the valve without
tanking the tank off of the gun. Price is $30
Fill Station:
Fill Station comes complete with all the fittings you need to fill your own CO2 tanks.
You must have access to a 20-50lb. CO2 tank - preferably with a syphon tube.
Price is $60.
